Week 16 - DFS Cheat Codes

Welcome to Championship week! For those who have had your hopes and dreams stripped from you by Lamar Jackson and CMC, I feel you. We have DFS to keep us company though and despite the lack of value on this weekend's slate, I am going to break down the best value plays available.

Andy Dalton @ Miami, $5200 – The game I thought would be the Tua Bowl is finally here. Andy Dalton is still playing for a job, and despite an awful showing last week against NE, I think he’s made a good case for himself. This dumpster fire of a game has a 46-point over/under so there is points to be had in the tank bowl. I think rolling with Dalton gives you a nice ceiling along with a decent price point.

Jalen Richard @ LA, $3700 – Last time Jacobs missed time, Richard saw almost 40% of the snaps with 7 carries and 3 targets. Washington’s price is only $4000 but, while everyone flocks to him, why not go for the other piece of the backfield no one will be invested in? In games with at least 40% snap share Richard has at least seen RB3 numbers and this is all without a TD. For only $300 dollars less than Washington it doesn’t seem worth it, but it could play off very well with a projected 1.7% ownership.

Christian Kirk @ Seattle, $5600 – Shaquill Griffen is battling injury currently, which means Kirk is a fire play this week. Murray is a lock for at least 25 attempts, and against Seattle, a defense that hasn’t lived up to what it was last year, Kirk should be able to take those targets in an have a day. His price is only $5600 and should make a good ceiling play for that price.

Austin Hooper vs Jacksonville, $4400 – Austin Hooper has finally worked down his price from his unreal start to the season. Truthfully, he does not seem very healthy even after taking a few weeks off but I think this week we see him come back. The Jags defense has all but given up on the season and the Falcons are doing the opposite. Hooper is still seeing 5+ targets a game, he just needs to bring them in. For a price of $4400, and a community that’s given up on him, he should see low ownership.
