Week 15 - Tight End Dart Throws
Last week sucked, for the tight end position (at least my streaming options). OJ Howard was probably the best of the choices but I promise this week’s dart throws will be better for the semi-finals of the playoffs. I will not be including anyone playing Arizona anymore, that’s a free square you should already know about.
Ian Thomas vs Seattle – He had a fantastic week against Atlanta last week and should see a better week this week. Seattle is second this season to fantasy points allowed to the tight end. He saw 10 targets last week, and I expect he sees a similar workload this coming week. Fire up Ian Thomas with no fear as the best streaming option next to anyone playing Arizona.
Noah Fant @ Kansas City – He got injured during a massive break out game, but he’s expected to play Sunday against the Chiefs. Lock has taken a liking to Fant since taking over and the Chiefs are a good match up to keep that going. I think the rookie comes with a sky-high ceiling this week and should be a viable dart throw if you need it.
Darren Fells @ Tennessee – He is touchdown or bust, and I am here for it. Fells hasn’t received more than 7 targets in a game this season, but he plays the Titans who are still in top 12 in points allowed to the position. I expect this battle for AFC South to have a lot of points and you’ll want a piece of that. Fells should come with the upside you will need, despite his high risk making him the third best dart throw of the week.
Dallas Goedert @ Washington – Washington has been a good gift to the tight end position this season. Phili is void of almost all their receiving core, the Eagles will need to move the ball through Goedert and Ertz. The major risk with Goedert, he’s still behind Ertz but if you’re desperate he is a more than suitable option this week.
Josh Hill vs Indianapolis – Jared Cook got knocked out with a concussion, and despite what other people may think, Hill is a good option this week. The Colts have a big weakness to the tight end and are currently giving up the 9th most points to the position, and he has Drew Brees throwing him the ball. Hill is a fantastic last-ditch option if you’ve been blocked from some of the other options and should fill a nice TE2 with upside roll.
